Any boy who had earned a letter in one of the extra-curricular sports activities was eligible for membership. These activities included football, basketball, tennis, wrestling, swimming, golf, track, and baseball. Girls were required to letter in such sports as swimming or tennis. Another possible way for students to be accepted was by earning a letter for academic excellence. The letters which each student received were in theshape of a P with gold and black colors. They had emblems designating the activity involved. 4 Organizations Fine Arts Our Fine Arts Club at Plant is made up of the many talented students in the school. The club holds auditions V twice a year at the start ot each semester. Students wishing to join must audition .. in front of a panel - of judges. Members of this club have such artistic talents as singing, dancing, painting, writing, acting, and playing musical instruments. Fine Arts again participated in Panther Prowl as they have in previous years. The club produced a talent show for the school and also did several shows for charitable organizations.
