Plagued by sickness rhroughour rhe year, rhe reams managed ro hang on ro winning records, C10-o, Varsiry and 7-5, FXS? The Varsiry's mosr memorable momenr was againsr Poly, in which Gunn, led by senior caprain Lenn Rosenberg and junior Joe Murad, bear Poly for rhe firsr rime in four years. Alrhough rhe FXS ream was very inexperienced, Coach Sroll expects ro have furure Vorsiry srandours in players such as sophomore Doug Lirrle and freshmen Chris Laliberre and Joey Taylor. Because of rhe differenr slsill levels opparenr on borh reams, Sroll is opromisric abour rhe success of furure Gunn warer polo programs.
