Tim Farrell, once an English teacher, carried the Oracle through many of the personnel problems resulting from the new editorial and business system, which includes twelve positions. Continuing its graphic evolution that began after the disasters of 1979- l980, Editor-in-Chief Mark Weiss, Managing Editor Greg Zlotnick, and Lay-out Editor Dan Stryer designed the standardized Forum, News, Fea- tures, Entertainment, and Sports sections. The Oracle also began its new tabloid front page which, when combined with the Centerfold pages, allowed feature topics to be covered with more depth and completeness. The size of the staff increased to a record level of 47 beginning and advanced students, assures a good future for Oracle journalism. Wpafmaaw. 'lk ,Yr A 'V 225 W
