We chose Carl Balestracci as pres- ident, Frank Gill, vice-president, Wilma Hunter, secretary, Gail Hill, treasurer, and Patricia White, Student Council member. Our class advisers are Mrs. Bartman and Mr. Willcox. The Guilford Fair with its float contest gave the Class of '58 its first opportunity to qualify as high school students. The Assassination of Caesar was entered in the competition and won third prize. OCTOBER . . . The magazine drive is finally over and our class has contributed quite a bit toward making it a success for we came in third place. MARCH 1955 . . . Incidentally, diary, everyone had a wonderful time at the annual Sadie Hawkins Dance. APRIL . . . Our class was well represented in the operetta picnic. JUNE . .. Everyone had an enjoyable evening which may have been contributed due to the Christ- mas season for it was held on the 23rd. MAY 1956 . . . We held a Talent Show in which the whole school HISTORY took part. It proved to be a great success for our class. Everyone was sad at the departure of Mrs. Bartman, our class adviser. JUNE . . . We have just ordered our class rings and everyone is looking forward to receiving them in the begin- ning of our Junior year. SEPTEMBER 1956 . . . Dear Diary: Our Junior float was Winter Won- derland and we were proud to receive the Blue Rib- bon.
