Most people would be satisfied to be able to say l passed, but one senior, John Carl, can claim near perfection in all of his math and science Regents: 09 in biology, and 98 in chemistry. In 1974, when the Math I0 Regents were cancelled. John managed to obtain a 98 average for his final course mark. Math and science aren't John's only strong subjects, He received a 95 on both the history and linglish Regents. John attributes his success to the I lth grade American Studies Program.
