After all, three hours was more than sufficient time in which to finish the examination. Thinking back to our Iunior Year, many of us thought that it was a year in which much was done. lmmediately, plans for lunior Day were made. ln the fall of 'Sl there was an anniversary of the school's founding to which all were invited. Iunior Day, the event that everyone was waiting for, finally came. The boys put on their Sunday best, and with their carnations in their lapels, were proud to celebrate such an important day. The girls looked so nice with their beautiful dresses that their male classmates didn't even recognize them. After school a dance was held for the Iuniors at which everyone had a good time. After it was all over and the corsages and carnations died, many of us couldn't wait until we celebrated our next class event, Senior Day and the Prom. ln Ianuary of the year 1952, many of us enjoyed the Musical Potpourri given by the music department. In the spring of '52 the music department once more presented a wonderful event. This time an operetta, Countess Maritza. Yes, our Iunior year was the best, for We have so many memories which will never be forgotten. We have now reached the goal that everyone has striven for all the Way through school, becoming a senior. No longer must we look up to others, for we have reached the time where we are allowed to wear our senior hats and pins. The everlasting fear of inspectors and summonses was now forgotten, because We were superior to them all. This term we are also going to have a musical put on by Clevelandites, in which we are all interested. Before long We, the Seniors of Crover Cleveland High School, will take our last Regents and go out and again become beginners. Our whole class will split up and go into different fields. We will always remember that our school has prepared us to go out and face the world. lt has also taught us the value behind hard work. Our high school days are now at a close, and before We go, the Senior Class of Ianuary 1953 Wish to express our thanks to Dr. Tonsor, Miss Fink, Mr. McCaffrey, our grade advisers, and the rest of the teachers in the school, who have prepared us for our hard life ahead. To many of us it is hard to believe that our high school career has come to an end. In our minds and hearts the memories of Crover Cleveland will never be forgotten. KENNETH KARSPECK '53 Z1
