The Governing Board of the As- sociation is made up of elected officers and the presidents of the womenls organizations plus a publications representative. AWS purposes to cooperate with the faculty to maintain high standards of character, scholarship, loyalty, individual responsibility, coopera- tive living and honor. ssociation of Women Students Judicial oard The Judicial Board is the group of women respon- sible for handling all the regulations not directly falling under the jurisdiction of the administration. As they fulhll their purpose of instilling harmony within the women's dormitories, they assume the responsibility for dormitory permissions, rules, and rule infractions. Robeson. 2nd Row: J. en's overning Board thletic Council The Athletic Council endeavors to at- tain and maintain a high level of school spirit and to increase participation in school functions and recreational activi- ties by sponsoring Co-Rec nights, Migra- tion Days and various play days. The council consists of four seniors, three juniors, two sophomores, one freshman and the presidents of Varsity GH and Women's Athletic Association. The Ath- letic Council serves as a link between the Director of Athletics and the student body. Ames, R. Allen, B. Moore, J. Mentzer, K. George, D. Campbell, W. Dunlavey, K. Curry. In fulfillment of their primary objective of maintaining harmoni- ous living conditions among the male student body, the Men's Gov- erning Board carries out improvement projects in the dormitories and tries cases in a judicial court to lighten the load of cases that must be presented to the administration.
