ibejicafion The 1952 Pine Knot Staff takes great pride in dedicating this yearis book to Miss Jean Mc- Coy. This instructor is one of the favorites of the entire student body. Miss McCoy carries a very heavy schedule. She is the sponsor of Dra- matic Club, directs both the junior and Senior plays, teaches all public speaking classes, in- structs an English class, and has complete charge of the stage crew. Her gay personality and pleasing smile is well known to all of us. Miss McCoy has made a success of her career and has been guiding light for all of us throughout our high school career. 0100 bUOI We, of the Pine Knot staff, have striven to sum up the red-letter days in this your 1952 Pine Knot. As a back- ground for twelve years of accomplishment, we have selected what we think is an appropriate theme, School Daysf, All of you remember the old song of the same name. Now another old song, a song of our carefree years, has ended. We have used each line to represent some phase of your school life. You will notice this within each section of the book. You will also notice the musical notes which pertain to certain phases of the song along with comical figures. Last but not least, you will notice the many changes in this year's Pine Knot and many of the attractive layouts. This is 1952, the year which consumates our four years in Grove City High School. We are now ready for the inauguration of our careers. These past few years have been joyful and fun, but now we are leaving our school daysn behind and must find our future in the world outside the door of Grove City High School. 4
