His days have been spent getting thrown out of English and practicing his father's signa- ture. His avoirdupois lcultivated by swiping desserts! won him a letter back- ing up the Varsity football line, and he also got a letter for his basketball prow- ess. He was elected to the esteemed posi- tion of President of the Student Council. Upon graduation Bob will enter the Navy. Gayle is the little girl with her feet firmly planted on the ground. She has been the very responsible Student Council member from the class of 1943 for the past two years. She is frank and unassuming. She was the editor of Tri-Star in her senior year after three years of fine staff work, She is energetic and eliicient in any pro- jects she attempts. From now on she will do her cheering for the University of Michigan. Buttsy came to us in the second grade. and we have been laughing ever since. His artistic ability is well known and in every sense he is the life of the party, He was Secretary of the Freshman class, advertis- ing manager of the Triangle. Art Editor for the Periwn, and twice a Student Coun- cil member. He got three letters in Var- sity football team and was President of the U-Club in his senior year. f' if X W a New- - Q3 if .l 'N' X l' at X 'reflex 'W F I 0 R DONALD FINNIE LUCIE ANN NAUMAN Don left the sacred portals of Hotch- kiss to spend his senior year with us. His originality and speed of thought make him stand out in any crowd. His musical ability is a welcome addition to any party. He was elected Managing Editor of the Perimn and his work was well appreci- ated. In sports he worked with the gen- eral squad and donned a football suit to help the class trounce the Juniors. He plans to lounge at Princeton until the Selective Service finds him. Luce is one of the more volcanic mem- bers of the senior class. She never fails to startle her classmates when she comes out of her serene quandary with some scheme of gigantic proportions. She is impulsive and affectionate. Her greatest luxury is procrastination. She has a smooth wardrobe and never looks the least bit mussed up. She was an able chairman for the junior Prom in 1942 and an equally efficient Student Council president in her senior year. She'll be selling War Bonds at Smith next year. STANLEY DAY Stan came to D.U.S. in the sixth grade, but interspersed a brief bout at the High School. He has the great quality of lead- ership and is a plugger in anything he tries. He was elected President of the Sophomore class, played Varsity football two years, and was a member of the Dra- matic and Glee Clubs. He was Business Manager of the Triangle in his senior year. Uncle Sam is making Stan's plans for the next few years.
