Thanks to the efforts of parents. students. and staff. the team will occupy a modern. spacious gym sometime next year. Although everyone is looking forward to the new home of the basketball team. the school will never forget the thrilling and exciting action witnessed in the old gym. The last season was typical of the high quality of basketball that Grosse Pointe has produced within its walls. Fighting for the rebound against Fordson are Spindle 4, Barry llf, Wible t3', Rauth 16 and Taylor JB . The Pointers won this close and exciting game in the closing minutes of play. Tutored by Coach Howard MacAdorn, they finished in a tie for second place in the B CL In the game against Highland Park, Taylor f8l and Spindle K4 rush to sfop the Parker center, who is attempting o basket. Spindle s skill won recognition on mylhical all-state lineups Taylor t8 and Russel 491 wait anxiously as Spindle lhidden fights for the bal with two Parlrers.
