Senior Class Will of IQ55 We, the Senior Class of Gregory High School of 1955, being of sound OJ mind and body, hereby do bequeath the following talents and abilities to the Junior, Sophomore and -Ereshmen classes, and to the students of those classes whom we think need the aforesaid talents and abilities the most. THE SENIOR CLASS LEAVES To time Juniors the right to be leaders in the school, in the hopes that they will use it as wisely as we ave. To the Sophomores we leave our beauties and heroes. To the Freshmen we leave our musical, dramatic, athletic ability in hopes that it will bring them fame. Judv Adams wills her knack of understanding a joke the first time it is told to Don Stukel. Pat Bentz wills her ability to get money out of Frankie to Carol Haines. Lee Bess leaves his brain power to all those dumb Juniors. Ken Brotsky gives his Ag ability to Herman Laprath. Carroll Bruun wills his knack of skipping school and getting away with it to LeRoy Kayl. Marilyn Clementz leaves her calm level-headedness and driving ability to Norma Siems. Phyllis Diekmann wills 'her constantly changing heart and lboy friends to Joyce Sattler. Shirley Drath leaves her even temper and quiet ways with the 'boys to Martha Wetzler. LeRoy Dummer gives his ability in track to Sid Lindquist. Kathy Dvorak wills her friendly smile and good figure to Janice Wendell. Hope Frerichs leaves her willingness to work for her good grades to Vance Feyereisen. Ralph Gergen wills his hair and height to Don Saathoff. ' Margaret Giske leaves her angelic ways to JoAnn Rezac. Barbara Graham leaves her knack of getting Bob Lopour to do as she wishes to Dorothy Diekmann. Willis Harris gives his ways with biology to Nedra Lundfberg. Myrna Hennrich wills her quiet ways, gentle manner and soothing tones to Martha Wetzler. Lois Herrmann gives her quiet ways and gentle manners to Jackie O'Neill. 'Milo Jelinek leaves his ability to collect women to Bill Saathoff. Bits Kayl gives Paul Gnirk to Betty Van Cleave. Bob Kirwan wills his conceit and arrogance to Dale Christensen. Ben Kolbe leaves his title of most fun to Bob Gaddis. Emmett Kotrba wills his brain to the lbiology class for analysis. Marilee Krizan leaves her knack of hanging onto Wayne, despite all obstacles, to Peggy Kimball, in the hopes that she will have the same 'luck wtih Bob Lopour. Larry Kucera gives his characteristics that make the girls love him to Billy Jonas. Lois Layh leaves her ability to go steady with four different guys and get away with it to Norma Vedral. Harley Leslie wills his talkativeness and good nature to his brother Orlin. oo Patsy Locke leaves her title as one of them only childs to Donna Dobesh. Joe Lopour wills his way with the Tripp County girls to his brother Bob. Jack Mc'Collam leaves his red hair to Peggy Bentz so she won't have to spend so much money for All Purpose Rit. Wayne McCollam wills his Burke girls to Don Saathoff. JoAnn McElroy gives her boxing ability to Betty Van Cleave. Don McKenna wills his ability to play the guitar to Billy Jonas. Zeta Moffitt leaves her ability to play the clarinet to Nedra Lundberg. Wayne Parker leaves his beard to Junior Shoe- maker. Jim Putnam wills his ke-razy giggle to Jack Hoffie. Bill Rasmussen gives his detachable sideburns to Darl Ellis. Dennis Rundall leaves his night life to Joe Harmacek. Don Sattler wills this ability to 'blush to Ken Hansen. Larry Schlaht wills his ability to wear tight levis and like it to Pat Feyereisen. Sandy Schlaht leaves her knack of getting high centered to Ronelva Leslie. Terry 'Schlaht wills his manner of not acting like his brother to Art Sattler. Merlin Scott gives his knack of keeping quiet to Dean Wiedmann. Dick Shoemaker leaves his ability to collect his debts to Mr. Brecht. Marlene Sinclair wills her cymbal playing ability to Peggy Kimball. Dick Steffen wills his parking place on the Buttes to Ken Hansen. Hlgank Supik gives his swell personality to Gary a n. Dale Tappe leaves his reputation with the women to his little brother Lee. Donald Earl Joseph Van Cleave, Esquire, leaves his long name to Joe Sejvar. Nancy Von Seggern leaves her name Frenchie to Ellen Itchie Hutchison. Virgil Wempe this afbility to ride a horse to Nancy Weaver. Kenny Wendell wills his ability to take a joke to Vance Feyereisen. Sharon Whitley leaves her travelogue on Cali- fornia and Sam Tarr to Jackie O'Neill. Maxine York wills her friendliness and quiet Ways to the Junior girls.

l95LL Track Returning lettermen for 1954 werg L. Kucera and E. Kotrba. The meets attended were the Sand Hill Relays at Bassett, the Winner Invitational, the Conference at Winner, the Regional at Yankton and the State Track Meet. SAND HILL RELAYS-Kucera was the only one to place, this was fourth in the broad jump. INVITATIONAL-Gregory placed first in the broad jump, fourth in the 100 yard dash and third in the mile run. CONFERENCE-Kucera placed second in broad jump, second in the 100 yard dash. Dummer Won second in high jump. Kotrba won first in the 880 yard run and Powell won third in the shot put. REGIONAL - Kucera won first in broad jump and the right to go to State. LETTERMEN - LeRoy Dummer, Larry Kucera, Ben Kolbe, Emmett Kotrba and Don Sattler. Emmett and LeRoy were elected C0- captains.

Lee Bess: Math teacher at Vassar. Ken Brotsky: Inspects all milking machines in Paxton. Carroll Bruun: -Flash- Carroll Bruun just divorced his sixth wife. Reason: nonsupportf' Marilyn Clementz: She is now the secretary for Emily Post. Amy Vanderbilt fired her because of bad manners. Phyllis Diekmann: Married to an oil tycoon and lives on a small ranch C400,000 acresl near Clint, Texas. Shirley Drath: Now married to a Navy foot- ball player. He's from Texas. LeRoy Dummer: He keeps busy buying his and Janice's grandchildren new Mercuries. Kathy Dvorak: Marilyn Monroe of 1975. Hope Frerichs: Lumberjack in Montana. Her goal is to get the perfect toothpick. Ralph Gergen: An accountant on Wall Street. Margaret Giske: -Another Flash- Mag finally got enough mone to buy out the Hipp Soda Fountain. She wifi put her five daugh- ters to work immediately. Barbara Graham: Scrubwoman at the Krem- lin in Moscow. Willis Harris: Chief nut cracker at the bakery. Myrna Hennrich: --Flash-t'Myrna just won tllile Women's National Hog Calling Champion- s ip. Lois Herrmann: She has been employed as Mr. Nichols chief maid for the last 10 years. Milo Jelinek: Local advisor for the lovelorn old maids and only children. Bits Kayl: She is teaching a class in the perfection of school skipping. Robert Kirwan: Missionary to the pygmies in Afri-ca. His wife, Sandy, acts as interpreter. Ben Kolbe: Now chief cook and housekeeper for Patsy Locke. Emmett Kotrba: He is a wealthy doctor in Gregory. He and his father work together very nicely. Marilee Krizan: She is a math teacher at Harvard. She raises cats in her spare time. Larry Kucera: He has two Olympic titles- broad Jump and woman-avoider. Lois Layh: She has taken up residence in Reno-again. Harley Leslie: General manager of the Chamberlain Wholesale Fruit Co. Patsy Locke: She has just perfected a formula for removing freckles. Joe Lopour: Bartender and chief bouncer in the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jack McCollam: Raises hogs in the metro- polis of Dixon. Wayne McCollam: Chief architect for Crane Plumbing, he designs the half moons for the doors. Jo Ann McElroy: She lives in a penthouse, overlooking Lake Burke, with her 9 little Kellogs-Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran, Shredded Wheat, Bran Flakes, Krumbles, Sugar Pops and Pep. Don McKenna: Replacement for Jack Reno, also accompanies the Ranch Girls. Zeta Moffitt: Chief clerk in charge of sweep- ing floors and marking cans in Buches. Wayne Parker: English teacher in Dallas High. Jim Putnam: Mortimer Snerd's stand-in on the Edgar Bergen Show. Bill Rasmussen: Test Pilot for the You Can Fly 'Em Paper Airplane Co. Dennis Rundall: Runs his own brewery on the Ponca. Don Sattler: Famous safe cracker, he finally found a use for those long, delicate fingers. Larry Schlaht: The only cleft-nosed Wrestler in the world. Terry Schlaht: President of the Dan Dugan Oil Company. He got his start as a truck driver. Sandy Schlaht: Bobis. interpreter. In her spare time she is trying to perfect the six-inch high heeled shoe. Merlin Scott: The world's greatest hair- dresser. Dick Shoemaker: Runs a bill collecting agency in Carlock. Marlene Sinclair: A private detective in Dixon. Dick Steffen: Runs a parking lot on the Buttes. Frank Supik: Football coach at UCLA. Dale Tappe: Ice box salesman in the Yukon. Don Van Cleave: Pined away and died be- cause he wanted to be another Jimmy Durante but he didn't have the nose for it. Nancy Von Seggern: Does the hula on Arthur God-frey's program. Virgil Wempe: Drug store cowboy at the Wall Drug store. Ken Wendell: He works for the government. He is a minister to Luxembourg and lives in a parsonage. S.Sharon Whitley: Gives music lessons in Sing ing. Maxine York: Happily married and resides on a farm near Lucas. ol
