The Gregory High School Band, with approximately 45 members, marched for all of the home football games. The Pep Band played at all of the home basketball games. The band gave a concert before the Junior and Senior class plays, and gave a concert during the first part of May. On Apri 1 the band went to Mitchell to participate in the Region V music contests. The band received a II rating in class A competition. 35

Bottom row: Ben Kolbe Terry Schlaht, Joe Sejvar and Bill Hennrich. District Champions The Gorilla hoopsters enjoyed one of the most successful seasons that they have had in recent years. They wound up the season with a 13-11 won-lost record. They also had 7 'seniors on the first ten, which will, of course, probably be somewhat of a problem for next year. The Gorillas started out the season by playing Colome and they came out on top 73 to 45. The next game was with Murdo CThe No. 1 rated team in the stateh. Gregory this time came out on the short end 57-61. This is just about the way the games worked out for the Gorillas all season, first winning one or two and then losing one or two. They have played some of the top teams in the state, for instance, Murdo, White
