During Spanish III, Lori Hafer, Hanet Wulf and Mickey Reynolds are acting out a skit about a candy store. These Senior civics students are taking test. The prize-winning speech of the Voice of Democracy speech contest was written by Mike Dolick. Alicia Lund placed second and JoEllen Skytta third. There were 62 contestants. Mike went on to win the District contest. Linda Ballard, Brian Kissell, Debbie Weger and Don Stuewcr are cooking up a storm. Pride is shown in academic achievements. These include studying and the different activities in the various classes. Some of the classes had guest speakers come in and talk about their particular field. Many students and teachers went on field trips. 14

Pride is shown in the activities that go on around us. Some of these were: the plays put on by Mr. Pawlowski’s class and homecoming. There was much work to do for Homecoming-building floats and decorating halls. Dressed up in costume is Elaine Kent in the middle, on the left is Becky Ziegenfuss and on the right is Cindy Welch. Betsy Caverly dressed up as a clown Thad Taylor and Tracy Scnko, Senior Representatives, and Steve Day and Alicia Lund, during Homecoming week activities.
