FOREWORD This year, Greenville Senior High School has made great advances. An independent study program was established. Our athletic teams fared well, and one new sport was started. Some new activities were begun, others were re-established after a short absence. Our community has also moved forward. New industries came to Greenville. Plans were made for a new public library. An adult education program was set up, and Montcalm Community College was organized. For this reason, the theme of the 1966 Hi-Life is Greenville on the Go.” These words, printed on the front of the book, signify the progress made in our school and community during 1965-66. On behalf of the 1966 Hi-Life staff, 1 hope that you will enjoy the memories stored in this annual. Candace Walker Jaehnig, 1966 Hi-Life Editor 2
