 The Center Of GHS” The long, waiting bench full of students - The tall counter over which many varied exchanges take place - Mrs. Eileen Burke, Attendance Secretary The intercom console sitting in the far corner, tempting students to run over and yell fire! - The teachers' mail boxes, full of all kinds of little goodies and surprises - The book store, Mr. Dalman’s office, the excuse line - People rushing in and out in a flurry of activities, bothering the staff with dozens of urgent problems - From 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. the office is a scurry of humdrum activity - truly the center of G.H.S. The following students have volunteered to help in the kitchen and the concession stand during noon hour: First row - Tina Ward, Rick Johnson, Annette Staffen, Mary Ann Eckberg, Bonnie Thompson, Betty Wireman, Jerry Lake. Second row - Sandy Schwartz, Ron Ellsworth, Roger Pickell, Tom Vander Schuur, Edward Sebald, Don Gunderson, Jerry Lyndrup. Third row - Darrell Johnson, Roger Grow, Noel Hansen, Bruce Filkins. COOKS AND CUSTODIANS Don Keseiring and Pat Patterson are just two of the four custodians, who perform an invaluable service for GHS each day. The others are Mrs. White and Johnny Christensen.
