 The Center Of GHS” The long, waiting bench full of students - The tall counter over which many varied exchanges take place - Mrs. Eileen Burke, Attendance Secretary The intercom console sitting in the far corner, tempting students to run over and yell fire! - The teachers' mail boxes, full of all kinds of little goodies and surprises - The book store, Mr. Dalman’s office, the excuse line - People rushing in and out in a flurry of activities, bothering the staff with dozens of urgent problems - From 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. the office is a scurry of humdrum activity - truly the center of G.H.S.
