a memorable part of high school life. ln spite of all sorts of difficulties, ranging from un- blossomed blossoms and seasick sea horses to a sur- plus of sidewalk superintendents, the juniors managed to make the Spring Formal a success. The coronation was very impressive and no one tripped or eurtsied beyond the point of no return. The festivities of the evening lasted into the wee hours of the morning. flowever, Larry Roland overdid it a little when he reached home just in time to go back to school for the Saturday morning elean-up. Oh, to be young againl Better still, to be young .md handsome! Flash triumphs-and wins the fair maiden. The middle of May brought the Senior Trip. Everything was going fine until about 3:00 A.lX'l., when the desk clerk called to say that the people three Hoors down would appreciate it if they'd just go to bed. Somehow everyone survived the trip, although Ronnie Baker was disappointed be- cause he didn't get to "jump off a skyscraper to see how it feels." Graduation came at last, and as the final bars of "Pomp and Circumstancen were played, all couldn't help feeling just a wee bit tearful. As they thought back over the past year, they remembered the things they'd done together-the elections, the Spring For- mal, the class plays, the assemblies, and all the fun they'd had in classes. For the underclassmen, it marked the end of another school year. But, for the seniors, it meant the end of high school life. They realized that, although life would never again be quite as carefree as it had been during the past four years, high school had enriched their lives and helped to prepare them for the challenges of the future. The quarter mile trip down the crowded hall ....
