Juniors Reflective that its first two years had flown by so quickly, and optimistic about the two years ahead, the Class of ’63, advised by Mr. John Campbell, be- gan its Junior year by electing Jim Snead as presi- dent, Donna McNeill as vice-president, John Ebeling as treasurer, and Rosemary McNeill as secretary. Dick Gloria, Carol Levin, and Marlene Lieblein were ap- pointed student council representatives. After an objective appraisal of its financial re- sources, the class set out on a year of fund-raising to fill its starving treasury for the imminent Senior year expenses. A very successful food sale followed by the Junior-sponsored Halloween dance — ‘'Be- witching Hours” — fed the hungering treasury well during the fall months. In December an extended cookie sale helped the Juniors along; in February they organized the traditional Valentine’s Dance; in the spring the class gave a skating party, car wash, and another successful food sale. As June ap- proached, the Juniors were busily planning the Prom, which was enchanting and provided a glowing cli- max to their third year at G.H.S.! FIRST ROW: E. Simmons, C. Levin, C. Simpson, M.
