Iliatnc Pow:-rs. sccretury. and Bill Hanfl. treasurer. with Hilda Kaplan and Henry Carlozzi as Studi-nt Council representa- tives. Our first big project. The Shamrock Shindigf, was a lmooming success and toward the end of the year we sponsors-d a food sale and rummage sale which boosted our treasury. Sophomore year found us lc-cling more confide-nt. With Mr. Carruthers as our adviser we again elected Alice. llaxid, and llianc to the same offices and liommy Vlfysocki. treasurer. with Bill Sullivan. Penny Coyle and Sue Hudson representing the Student Council. During the Christnias scason we sponsored ihwitllbf Vlfonderlandf' our first dance of the ye-ar which received much de- served praise. Other projects that ycar were our sc:-ond dance. Sophomore Spring Festival. a food sale and a rummage sale. As assured upper-classmen. we ,luniors with Nlr. Wilson. advisor. elected Alice Vail. president. Dave Highs-c. tice-president. lliane Powers. secretary, Richard Sledjeski. treasurer, with Marianne- liinchart.
