Thriving Freshmen '49-'50 FRESHMAN INITIATION: We really arn't prisoners, except to the seniors for a day. Aren't we attractive in our striped suits, hair in braids, work shoes, and ball and chain around our ankle? Neither did we feel comfortable nor did we think we looked attrac- tive. It was fun though. CLASS PARTY: A party honoring the sophomores turned everyone into circus animals: everything from pink elephants to green monkeys. After an en- joyable evening, we all feasted on a variety of sundaes and animal crackers.
