JOHNSON Freshmen make a hit On August 25, 1950, there were fifty-five bewildered but industrious Freshmen who entered the halls of Green- field High School. As people of every organization, creed, or nationality they nominated and elected boys and girls to help them find their way through trouble and enjoyment dur- ing their Freshman year. lc 2 g' Initiation was a very hilarious event of which they were mistaken for babies highlighted by costumes composed of ' -, , the following: long underwear worn under short skirts or 'f' il t shorts. They carried teething rings, baby bottles, rattles, J and dolls, They wore the traditional green beanies decorated with white lace. It was followed by a welcome party that PAT MUSMAKER evenins' PRESIDENT Here's hoping that the Freshmen get through all of their subjects and graduate in 54 as students of proud parents.
