Sweep Hamm fit ,local fled State Fam All ,al i Vocational agricultural students have participated in a wide ariety of 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America activities. 'he livestock and dairy judging teams won honors at the county, istrict, and state levels. Individual students won numerous honors t the county and state fairs and successfully participated in rojects designed to develop agricultural leadership, cooperation, nd citizenship. Bill Rader crown Charlotte Erdmann as the 1960 Football 6.19. S. Cfwwfw flofrwcommq Queen The crowning of the Football Queen cli- rmaxed the half-time activities of the 1960 Homecoming game. Five senior candidates- Charlotte Erdmann, Sara Hanna, Kay Knoll, i Kay Johnson, and Sally Sutherlin - were nomi- nated by the football squad. The entire student ,body then elected the queen, Charlotte Erd- mann. The girls, wearing wool sheath dresses and white chrysanthemum corsages, were es- corted to the float by the class presidents. Co- T Captains, Steve Akers and Bill Rader, crowned Charlotteg and Martha Craver, representing the Pep Club, presented her with a bouquet of white chrysanthemums as the band serenaded ' her with A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody. All this and a kiss too ! 27
