A , V K qi 1 L, X Y fa GHS placed high in 4-H honors this year. After winning locally Judy Cantonwine, Joyce Lewallen, and Rita Zeller competed in the district judging contest. For their poise and neatness as models Diane Walgamuth, Linda Walgamuth, and Agnes King were selected for the Honor Court at the County Dress Revue. Because of her outstanding ability as a Junior Leader, Mary Kaye Wright was chosen to attend the Junior Leaders' Conference. Those winning at the County Fair and going on to the State Fair to compete with other 4-H-'ers were Agnes King, Joyce Lewallen, and Emily Hendricks. The girls were capably led by Elizabeth McClure and Mary Lou Garriott. Agnes's Angus wins Grand Champion at the fair.

'he livestock and dairy judging teams won honors at the county, istrict, and state levels. Individual students won numerous honors t the county and state fairs and successfully participated in rojects designed to develop agricultural leadership, cooperation, nd citizenship.
