Besides the usual production problems of where to get the costumes, low to get all those tickets sold, and will the leading man be over the measles in time, this play had some very strange difficulties. In order 0 get the proper ethereal effect, the ghosts had to have special make-up, ighting, and set construction. The play centers around Miss Nancy Willard, who inherits a Revolution- ,ry War ghost named Nathaniel Coombes. The play is concerned with ler efforts to get Nathaniel into heaven and to choose one of her two uitors for a husband. Included in the cast were Nancy Borden, Larry Giddings, Marty Harm- ess, Tim Correll, Florence Peterson, Bill McCormack, Fred Wilbur, Bill vlahoney, Carol Harvey, Bunny Bergman, Harriett Williams, and Agnes King. There was usually more action than this for the cast. Sue Nickerson soon learns the effects of the ghost fTim Correllj. As the Class of '61 entered the halls of Greencastle High School in the fall of 1957, We saw, stretched before us, four long years of hard work before We could attain our ulti- mate goal - graduation. Our Freshman year was quite different from the years in junior high. We joined new clubs, participated in other extracur- ricular activities, and after the Sophomores initiated us, We became the greenies of G.H.S. Our Freshman class officers were Steve Akers, President, Bill Oberlin, Vice- President, Sally Carson, Secretary, and Bob- bie Jo Steele, Treasurer. Dissecting sharks, studying Julius Cae- sar, and initiating the Freshman highlighted our Sophomore year. To represent the class We elected Steve Akers, President, Dean Lancaster, Vice-President, Bobbie Jo Steele, Secretary, and Virginia Padgett, Treasurer. As Juniors, We found ourselves one year closer to graduation. During this year, We entered the new school building, received our class rings, and presented the Prom,HMagno- lia Manorffor the Seniors. Our class officers were Larry Giddings, President g Steve Jones, Vice-President, Virginia Padgett, Secretary, and Bobbie J 0 Steele, Treasurer. Our Senior year has been led by Larry Giddings, Pat Harrold, Virginia Padgett, and Bobbie Jo Steele. This year has been the busiest-yet the most fun of all- preparing for college, producing the Minaret, operating the concession stand, and planning Baccalau- reate and commencement.
