Danced All Night Sue Nickerson, Hi-Y Sweetheart crowned by Bob Tennis, was delighted with her crown ot red and white carnations. The throne was placed in the middle of the dance floor where the crowning took place. Sue's royal court included: Lucy Thomas, Joan Callender, Mary Beth Frazier, Sara Hanna. The traditional colors of red and white were used to carry out the Valentine theme ot the dance. Couples danced to the music of the Phil Haines Quartet, enjoyed refreshments, and had a wonderful evening. They danced to the music of the Phil Haines' Quartet. Sue reigns as Hi Y Sweetheart -bl

We Could Have Bob and his date, Joann Hack, pose with the Royal Court. WJ g i 1, f. Qi .fl-0 Bob Tennis is all smiles as he is crowned King. The gymnasium was converted into a Holly Day Ball for the Y-Teen Christmas dance on December l2, l959. Life size Christmas cards, which carried out the holiday theme, side-lined the dance floor. The crowning of King Bob Tennis by Y-Teen President, Jerri Callender, was the highlight of the Holly Day Ball . Bob and his court were escorted to the huge wreath where the crowning took place. John Hammond, Dick Frederick, and Mike Eiteljorge were the other candidates for Y-Teen King. Music was furnished by the Cottonpickers from DePauw. The couples could have danced all night to their dreamy music. Couples dancing cheek to cheek enjoy the dreamy music.
