Highlight ocial Season Sweetheart candidates pose with escorts. The crowning of Queen Dixie Brattain by Hi-Y President, Bill Gould, was the highlight of the Hi- Y Sweetheart Dance. This yearly event was held February l4 in the Greencastle National Guard Ar- mory. The Queen's court was composed of three other candidates, Opal Smithers, Marilynn Brown, and Lucy Thomas. Red and white, the traditional Valentine colors, were cleverly used to carry out the theme of the dance. Couples danced to the romantic music of the Merry Makers, enjoyed the delicious refreshments, and in general, had a wonderful evening. The music's great, but please don't step on my feet!
