.T , fhzp fm ffutwne So that's where the sound of the drums came from. Drums of Death the annual Thespian Play, directed by Thelma Stout was presented December ll, l957 in the High School auditorium. The play, filled with mystery and wit- ticisms, enjoyed the attendance ofa full house. The action started when the sheriff Naot Cooper, was called to the old Bailey mansion to investigate the disappearance of the elderly owner. However, guests and rela- tives soon arrive which only confuses the al- ready hysterical sheriff. Yet with their aid he manages to capture the phantom responsible, but he is already dead. By taking one look at the mystery stone, he faced immediate self- destruction. A look at the mystery stone and ..... death. Fainting got to be o habit with Maryann.
