GHS. went along with all the fads and fashions of l957i The boys and girls shared styles of crew-neck sweaters and ivy league buckles . . . Elvis Presley was a frequent subject of controversy, while other tastes ranged from Pat Boone to Count Basey and his dance music, and Calypso with l-larry Belefonte . . . Popular items in girls' wearing apparel were bulky knit sweaters and blazers, which were very conspicuous throughout the halls of G.H.S .,.. Varied lengths of hair were obvious. Buns, pony tails, duck tails, and long hair were all worn in numerous styles. . . Pizza was enjoyed by all and the Roman Holi- day was the favorite hangout when you craved this delicious food, pizza. Xg Hmm hot' is often vociferated at the pizza place.
