.centor ffm: Ujjiceu -- ponsou The class of '43 held their fi st class meeting early in the year to let James Conrad know that he was president again Other officers elected were Judy Friend, vice president Jean Eitelgorge, secretar and Clifford Hanlon, treasurer This year when we came back to school, we found two new senior sponsors in out midst Miss May and Mr Pruitt They had replaced Mr H A Thomas and Mr Gilbert Rainge who had left G H S , Mr Thomas to take a position as principal in another school and Mr Rainge to Join the armed forces At the end of the first semester Miss May became Mrs Forster and moved away to be replaced by Mrs Dorritt After three years of hard work the seniors started the year with quite a sum of money They added to this by presenting the senior production, 'Sky Road, to a full house on Nolember 18, 1942 They also sold ice cream and cold drinks at all he basket ball games The major obyecfile of the class was to put out a senior publi ca ion which was entitled 'Priorities of '43 ' F 2 - 5 ' ys Stevens. . 1 . ll , , Y 1 O' .
