I am DON HERRMANN, speaking from New York, and I am EVERETT HEREN, reporting from Washington. Said JANET, If you had 10 kids, you would sneak away for a vacation tool The ocean liner, Queen Elizabeth docked today and aboard her were actress PATSY FRANKS, soon to celebrate her 30th birthday fagain??J by starring in The Hog Caller , and comedian WALTER SCOTT, who is soon to start a weekly television show from Mars. All unknown country nurse, SANDY TEBBEN, today gained national fame by curing a case of hic-cups that had baffled doctors for 90 days. Here in Washington today, race driver BOB MUNTER flipped while driv- ing his car at the speed of 190 m.p.h. He is expected to recover unless, of course, he dies first. White House Secretary EVELYN TIMKE announcedttoday that President J. Ralph Brasmer Qthat man will go on forever, ran out of vitamins yester- day and has a slight cold as a result. The President did leave his home for a minute to announce the appointment of PHYLLIS DENIGHT as Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare. When informed of the appointment, PHYLLIS said, But, I want to be a kindergarten teacher. Near Chicago the home of DICK SCHERER blew up today. Police have not yet ascertained whether it resulted from a bomb planted by rival gang leaders, or from a still which was operated in the cellar. Today LINDA WILLIAMS, Vice-Pre sident of KAESEBIER, KAESEBIER, 81 WILLIAMS, a fashion store chain, announced the retirement of JANETTE TIMKE as fashion editor. The much-'married JANETTE is preparing for her fifth trip up the matrimonial aisle, this time to Lord Mottlerose of England. President JUDY KAESEBIER has recently returned irom a buying trip to France. Inventor CAROL RUNYON recently announced her latest contribution to a more peaceful world, a silencer for back seat drivers. This invention is to be distributed by Sears, Roebuck 81 Company. A United Rocket Ship made an emergency landing on Venus today. Casulties were aVoided , said Pilot RONNIE WEYHRICH, by the collected and calm action of stewardess JANICE NEWLUN. SHERRY B a Marine wife, was annoyed by hot rodders zooming past her house. Her solution was to put up a detour sign, sending the speed demons down a road worse than Route 29. Few people annoy her anymore. NANCY , wife of the engineer who built the first suspension bridge across the Atlantic, recently started manufacturing miniature rocket ships for children. The ships can only go to Venus, so your children will always be in the range of your RETURN-O Ray Gun so you can pull them in immediately. I SEBL X395 Q, J J if, ja I, x if
