To keep the peace it requires tolerance and understanding. We must educate people in the art of peace - not war. We must believe in our hearts that war must never come again. We must labor on until: All peoples ofthe earth Share but one common birth, One destiny. One sun shines over ull, Alike we rise or fall, May we all dwell in peace and unity. Great God of all the earth, Lead us to know the worth Of sympathy. May fellowship increase, May all contentions cease, Then we will dwell in peace and unity. - Patricie Koenig Board Education E- W- I-INDSEY GEORGE P. MEISINGER President. Secmgmy ,al JOHN URISH, JR. I, Alberta Bailey, bequeath my freckles to Mrs. Bussone. I, Janet Mount, bequeath my dark hair and eyes to Joe Zilch. I, Norman Miller, bequeath my debating abi- Iity to Dale Limback. I, Roseann Boehme, bequeath my quietness in Sociology to Pic Dillon. I, Marie Woodruff, bequeath my height to Janice Ary. I, Shirley Weir, bequeath my love of iazz and 'be-bop' to Wilbur Kitchell. I, Audrey Fisher, bequeath my ability to keep the office clean to Mr. Brasmer. I, Beverly Mitchell, bequeath everything to Lois Schumm lexcept Frankl. I, Allen Farmer, bequeath my excess hair to Mr. Rueb. I, Frank Guile, bequeath my voice to Hazel Jones. I, Leroy Hale, bequeath my southern accent to Judy Franks. I, Lillian Stadsholt, bequeath my magazine salesmanship to the Freshman Class. I, Beverly Larimore, bequeath my shyness f?l to Norma Griffin. I, Geraldine Krohn, bequeath the ioy of be coming engaged to any GVHS girl who does so. I, Mr. Koch, bequeath the class of '54 to whoever will have them. Times change! Even now when I think back when we graduated from GVHS, I laugh. Carl Ary, the class clown, is Vice-President of Bru- baker 8t Brubaker, manufacturers of plastic dia- pers. This came in handy for Beverly Mitchell, who is now married and has six daughters. She's topped only by Geraldine Krohn and her eight boys land George, tool! They have bridge clubs every once in awhile to catch up on all of the latest on the 54'ersl Audrey Fisher usually ar- rives on her tractor. fThey live on a farm, you knowll She usually has to hurry home in time to do the milking. Alberta Bailey and Shirley Weir are practicing the art of 'Living Alone and Like- ing lf' but they do run a bachelor apartment as a side-line. Marie Woodruff and Roseann Boehme, famous opera singers, usually arrive fashion- ably late in their new I964 Cadillac. Frank Guile, one of our former classmates is their a- gent, and he always comes along to 'protect' them. Beverly Larimore hardly ever makes the little 'get togethers' because she's the U.S. Ambassador to Russia. When she does, she really tells us some 'interesting' stories. While in Russia, she attended the Olympics and saw Norm Miller win first in seven events, includ- ing debating and checkers. But, back home, Leroy Hale and Allen Farmer have taken over the Homer 8. Jethro show. Janet Mount is a PE in- structor in dear ole' GVHS. She leaves her two little 'Burdens' in the care of the Home Ec I girls. This is perfectly all right with their teacher, Lillian Jacob, formerly Lillian Stad- sholt. The girls say that Lillian is a wonderful teacher. I guess that's all of us now! Times sure have changed!
