JUNIORS School would have been very dull without the juniors to help to keep things humming. This class started to school as Freshmen with twenty members. During their Sophomore year, they lost Barbara Christie and Suzanna Shay. The class now has an enrollment of fourteen. The followin class officers were elected: Orrie Woodruff, President, Ray Winner, Vice-Presidentg john Goeken, Secretaryg jim Ary, Treasurer. The class was well represented in G.A.A., library, and all athletics. The distinguished members of the junior class on the Student Council were jim Ary, and Russel Crosby. SOPHOMORES During the summer the Sophomores turned from a dark to a light green. When Freshies they had twenty members, but they lost Harold Griffin to work, Pete Vetter to Perkin High School and Patricia Carr to Princeville High School by way of the village of Edelstein. The following class officers were elected: Burr Dickerson, Presidentg Bud Schureman, ViceiPresident5 Duane Heren, Secretary-Treasurer. The Sophomore class was well represented in G.A.A., library, and all sports. The elite members of the class on the Student Council were Duane Heren and Carl Hamilton. FRESHMEN . The Freshrnen class started out with ten members. They lost one when Marilyn Christie moved to Pekin. In the first class election the following officers were elected: Frances Clauser, President, Shirley Baysinger, Vice-President, Joanne Runyon Sec- retaryg and james Skagga, Treasurer. All of the Freshmen girls belong to the G.A.A. and they had a good representation on the honor roll each six weeks. Frances Clauser was elected a cheer-leader. Richard Watts was the only Freshman going out for sports and he played basketball, but he also did a good job of parlor sitting for a Freshman. Jim Skaggs and Richard Watts were the baseball managers last fall. An event which will stand out in the minds of the Freshmen is the day which was spent at the Hartwig sale. The class sold sandwiches, coffee, etc.
