0 Class Prophecy One day in the year of 2000, we were coming back from our trip to the moon in our conv- ertible rocket ship, which was flown by Bonnie Scott. When we landed on the world, we deci- ded to stop in our used to be home town, which was Green Valley. When we arrived we were very much surprised to find that we had landed on the platform in front of Orv. Meeker's Hampshire hog barns instead of the airport. We talked to him awhile, then decided to travel on toward Green Valley. On the way we passed Mel Rademacker's chicken ranch, and also Roy Shay's 500 acre watermelon farm. After a- five hour trip we reached the suburbs of Green Valley. When we arrived in Green Valley we decided to see what old G. V. H. S. looked like and of course the first room we came to, was the English room. Who should we see, but Lois Ary trying to teach the Senior Class which had an enrollment of 384 pupils. After saying good-bye to Lois, we went to what use to be our gym, only to find a monsterous swim- ming pool with Deloras Dickerson as the Athletic teacher. She was trying to teach one of the girls how to do the Swan Dive. Then we went to the Music room and there we saw Mary Sch- ureman beating out Boogie Woogie to one of her talented students. After resting for a while we decided to follow the aroma which we smelled, only to find it led to the G. V. High Labatory where Barbara Duncanson was mixing a formula of HZS. Then we left the High School and stopped at a house to inquire about where we could find a place to eat. Who should answer the door, but Virginia Drake. We talked to Virginia awhile and found out that Thurza Forbes was also a housewife and was living next door to her. Upon reaching the business district we found Bob Heren as the top accountant in the busi- ness firm Heren 8: Heren and Co. Who should we find as his private secretary but Marga- ret Wopdrow and her private Secretary Dorothy Pfeiffer. As night was drawing near we deci- ded to stop for the evening at the Ideal Hotel. When we awoke we found that a day had passed and it was now Sunday and time to go to Church. When we went to pay our bill who should we see but Bernadine Weyhrich as the private secretary for the owner of the hotel. We asked her if there was a church anywhere around and she told us where we could find one. When we arr- ived, to our great surprise we found Rev. Lewis and in the Reverend's Mansion we found Ada Goeken as his assistant, who typed up all his sermons for him. After church it was time to catch our rocket plane, so we started off. When we arrived at the plane, we were surrounded by photographers and the ace of all photographer who was Paul Schlyer. Upon saying good- bye to Paul, we left good old Green Valley, Illinois. N
