New Coach For Varsity This year Dave Schenk was the head coach of all the girl's basketball teams. Although he was new at coach- ing the girls' varsity, he has taught the J.V. teams for two years prior to this year. When asked how he liked coach- ing, Schenk replied, I love it! It lets me see students in a different light, and not just in the atmosphere of the classroom. The girl's basketball season started on November 8 and practices were held six days a week, excluding Sun- days. Often times, before a game start- ed, warm-up practices were accompa- nied with shoot arounds, and other types of exercises to get the girls moti- vated.
