She leaves us after devoting 22 years of her lifeuto District 6 students. In September, 1952, she started teaching home economics at Meeker Junior High, and she became a member of the business education department at Central in September, 1959. I Students enjoyed learning from her the many skills and attitudes needed to succeed in their chosen vocation and were also able to appreciate and gain from her world-wide travels. ln addition, they also benefited from and recognized her warmth, patience, and experiences which so readily colored the classroom atmosphere. Although Central is losing an effervescent and gracious lady, the world is gaining a ver- satile women of many accomplishments who will continue her learning and increase her love of life through travel, hobbies, and humanitarian devotion to others. lt is with a sincere expression of appreciation that this yearbook is fondly dedicated to Mrs. Jackie Arthur. ARF S x I . They call it dedication . . The Greeley Central Administration helped to make this 1973-74 school year successful for both students and faculty. Mr. Rex Hester, principal, saw the year as a busy one in preparation for the major remodeling of the building next year. His many duties for the year includ- ed helping organize curriculum, evaluating teachers and instilling an un- derstanding of the school philosophy in both faculty and students. Although Mr. Hester's primary dutieskeep him busy, he always finds time to help any student with a problem. With the addition of Mr. Ron Fioggy as Assistant Principal for Administration, attendance regulations were tightened. Academic probation was added to curb frequent absences, and hall passes were required for all students in the halls dur- ing class hours. Assistant Principal for Instruction, Mr. Randy Newman, found his duties con- sisted mainly of maintaining an organized curriculum and handling scheduling problems. ln addition, Mr. Newman and other members of the Central administra- tion sponsored extra-curricular activities, adding another feature to the successful school program.
