DEPARTMENT ali 1 wx pared in Al condition by these supervisors The boys in the Auto Mechamcs Shop learn the names and parts ot an automobile how to take one apart and re assemble it and how to use and operate the various tools and machines needed lor this work So when necessrty calls for the boys to repair a leep or a tank they are ready The Welders ol our school are gxven the opportuntty to prepare for an important de tense yob Every ship that the United States IS burlding for our two ocean Navy must be an example of perfected workmanship The Welders play a most rmportant role here be cause they are the men who weld the ships together This IS certainly one way of strength ening our defenses and sate guard1ng our freedom Thus We see two examples ol the vital work that the vocational men are teach- ing our boys. We have available here at high school classes in physics biology physiology physiography and chemistry. Our instructors are the best and the advantages set before our students are most beneficial.
