Karen Murray - Art Editor Editor's Corner It is only due to Mr. Bennett's stubborn refusal to realize that I can't write that we have this space to fill and I can't ditch this editor's job because we are short on pictures. (This is a joke Michael) So, as editor I should tell people who didn't work on the book what goes into making a year- book - a lot of time and frustration, or I could use this space as a personal thank you note to all the people who had the patience to put up with me this year; my family, who smiled at the streams of people trouping by their dinner; my teachers, who invariably gave papers due the day of the Arista deadline; and my friends, who stopped asking how did the meeting go? but never stopped listening. But since those people may not read this, and the staff will, I should address some of my remarks to the staff. As editor, I have learned a lot, like how to make lists of things that have to be done. For example; remember to - acknowledge Andy as the master of masters and Stewart as the best pile-maker of them all. Tell Jill that I'll tell Wynne about the next meeting. Get Cheryl a new pair of knees and Michael a helper who does everything but take pictures. Assure David that I don't bite. Send Joyce and the Baker Hill gang a chauffering bill (though I did offer). Arrange one meeting so that Leslie doesn't have a test the next day. Remind Linda that it is only because she is paranoid. Give the keys to next years' editors to the not-quite-soundproof, al- most invisible, coffee haven (otherwise known as the Arista office). Check back next year to see if anyone has found my sanity yet. Find a place for Mr. Bennett to smoke in peace. Learn how to say Thank you everyone without all the rest of this wind-up.
