SCIENCE CLUB CHESS CLUB Working cooperatively with the commu- nity project, the Citizen's League for Envi- ronmental Action Now lCLEANl, the Science Club is GM's ecology-minded or- ganization. lts members played a promi- nent role in the county-wide newspaper and magazine drives, road-side cleanups, and tin-can drives. Fossil digs and a camping trip to As- sateague and Chincoteague Islands were other major activites. i5lW Composed largely of underclassmen, the Science Club and its activities have at- tracted county-wide publicity.
