X VARSITY CHORUS The chorus meets not only every day in the band room, but also Monday nights for bass and tenors and Wednesday nights for altos and sopranos. All must be punctual or else! . . . Performances have been held at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station Chapel, the Lexington Park Baptist Church and, of course, Great Mills High School. Two annual concerts are also per- formed, the Christmas and Spring con- certs. TRAINING CHORUS This group consists of students inter- ested in becoming members of the varsity chorus. Mr. Kurt Hauptfuehrer begins the year by teaching the basics: reading notes, recognizing chords and pitches, and writing music.
