Varsity Chorus Under the direction of Mr. Kurt Hauptfuehrer, left, the Great Mills Varsity Chorus spends countless hours training and conditioning for choral presentations performed throughout the year. Concerts at local churches and civic organizations give the chorus members an opportu- nity to realize the benefits of practice and determination. Each year the Varsity Chorus pres- ents a spring and a winter concert to the Great Mills student body. This year's program covered a wide range of music styles: Renaissance mass, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Im- pressionistic, Twentieth Century, Twentieth Century Popular and Negro Spirituals. Also included was a Renaissance motet and a ballad per- formed by the Madrigal Group.
