Members of this group belong to the Lexington Park, Ridge, Valley Lee, and Hollywood Volun- teer Fire Departments. As public servants, the members serve as protectors against the con- stant threat of fire and weather haz- ards. These volunteers attend train- ing sessions at the University of Maryland where they learn the tech- niques and processes of proper fire control.
