On our recent trip to Washington and New York we saw several people we knew. . .CAROLYN PUGH is the ambassador to Lower Slobovia . . . ROBERT MERCER, the noted politician, is now running for Congress, his private secretary, by the way, is RAYMOND UMPHLETT.
