Greenhorns invade corridors of GBH Armed with a pile of notebooks, gym clothes, schedules, erasers, school rosters, and anticipation, the sophomores and new teachers invaded the halls of Great Bend High School. Sophomores proceeded to be caught in the whirl- wind of the start of a new school year. New teachers pro- ceeded to learn their way around new surroundings and the names of their students. Together they attempted to put their mark into the un- forgotten history pages of GBHS. Confronted with repre- sentatives from every club and organization, sophomores soon leamed who was who and what was what. Teachers also learned what clubs and organizations did to benefit the school, the school they soon came to know and understand. Live and learn should be the motto of every sopho- more and new teacher. The often overwhelmed newcomers heard cries of learn this, do that, and pay for this. It seems as if the excitement lasts for many of them throughout the year. , ,.,,..- 'L 'i'mW 'M . -.Mi Sophomore Debbie Hemphill proceeds with the daily task of tucking in her gym blouse. QO-
