Pep Club strived to make the best year yet Mascots have always kept up the spirit of all athletic teams. This year Pep Club took on the project of mak- ing a stuffed panther. A contest urged students to give him a name. Spirit was chosen from a number of en- tries and Chris Giles had the winning original idea. For the prize she won a 1970 Rhorea. Everything went great until a few individuals hid Spirit in the loft of the auditorium. It was all meant to be fun and games until the party involved realized his worth.
