Debbie Cheerleaders light the fire of spirit. If the Pep Club lost its urge to yell or the team faltered, the cheerleaders administered innoculations of pep by cheering even more enthusiastically! Their eagerness, as if contagious, spread quickly, even to the spectators. Their duties, however, reached beyond athletics to maintaining an example for the school in all activities. They practiced diligently during the week and attend- ed one clinic at Dodge City. This year the juniors and Sophomores had a better chance of attaining B-team cheerleader. Eight girls were chosen, four to cheer for football and wrestling and four to cheer for basketball. ' Q I A2 X K XZ o ,,o bb fx' Sh lleil-:aylnv 'V lah' ClEf.....l?.... ll-. C- Karen 1 i.
