Advanced Chorus Composed of sopho- mores, iuniors, and sen- iors, the advanced chorus has undertaken many types of singing, and pre- pared several programs. Led by Mr. Harold George, they took part in the Christmas program, and were hosts at the annual regional Music Festival, held at Grass Valley on May 21. Beginners Chorus This chorus, composed of freshmen, has learned the fundamentals of sing- ing, and the members have had many enjoyable times singing together. Many of the members of the beginners' chorus plan to enroll in the ad- vanced chorus next year.

Red Cross San Juan Panel These members of the Senior Class traveled to San Juan where they displayed their talents by putting on a wonderful panel. The members are, left to right N Hooper B Peard, M. Hoover, D. Cornell J Andrews E Wong B. Green. Richardson Springs Conference On March 26th and 27th a group of eight girls under the advisorship of Mrs. Fellerson and Miss Gardner went to Richardson Springs to the Older Girls Conference. Each year this con- ference is held under the auspices of the Y.W.C.A. The conference features fellowship, recreation, fun, worship, discussion and head- line speakers. The theme of this year's confer- ence was 'The World and l . Grass Valley presented a panel entitled New Patterns in Courtship . Striking a new note in G.V.H.S. Red Cross organization, a council was formed instead of the usual club-type group. In November a large group of enthusiastic members traveled to a Regional Conference in Chico, presented a Get Acquainted with Red Cross assembly, and conducted the yearly drive for memberships. Donation Day saw the group busily helping to pack donation boxes as part of their community service program.
