ORCHESTRA With a well balanced assortment of instruments and able musicians, the orchestra has been able to win for itself great commendation in every public performance in which it has had a part. The orchestra had no officers this year, giving its entire time to practice, under the directorship of Miss Speicher. The practices of the organization! were very regular, hardly one re- hearsal having been postponed throughout the year. The orchestra has played in Parent-Teacher Association meetings several times, including the meeting which was turned over to the presentation of the Class Plays for the benefit of the playground. They played at the special japanese Tea Garden, which was one of the features of the P. T. A. Carnival held in early November. The Orchestra is looking forward to another successful year with its wealth of new material which is sure to come in the fall.
