Mrs. Kuizenga has been teaching at Grant Union for 11 years. She graduated from Michigan State U. Classes she teaches include Algebra I and II, and Personal Finance. Some of her hobbies are swimming, fishing, and golf. Mrs. Kuizenga is also very active in community affairs. DEPARTMENT Robert McGuire “Mac” has been Grant Union’s Physical Science teacher for the past nine years. Besides teaching several science classes, Mr. McGuire also instructs Program Math and Surveying. Mac stated that Surveying was his most enjoyable class this year, but was hampered due to lack of funds and equipment, but several trips were scheduled to make up for the dilemma. Mr. McGuire is an avid bird hunter, along with enjoying fishing and camping. Physics students ponder (daydream) about the mysteries of the universe. 21

DEPARTMENT Geometry class corrects their homework. Mr. Ken Molnar has been a mathematics teacher at Grant Union for 8 years. He teaches Advanced Topics, Advanced Industrial Math, Basic Math, Geometry, Industrial Math, and Special Topics. He is head of the intra- mural program, and Ken is also sophomore class advisor. He and his wife Peggy, a Grant Union graduate in 1968, have two children, Matthew 3, and Melinda. Excitement is produced in Geometry. 23
