FRONT ROW, L-R: Coach Davis, Tom Roth, Jim McKenna, Al Carroll, Gil Zachay, Al Layton, Larry Gittins. Experience should be a contributing factor in the kind of season the 1962 Eagle Varsity experiences. With only four seniors on the team, many iuniors and sophomores are having to fill vital positions. Tom Roth, Al Carroll, Dave Gibson and Ray Morrow have turned in top performances this far. All but Gibson are seniors. The team has won two games so far-6-4 and 5-3 victories over San Dieguito and Army-Navy, respectively. With a good chance to win several more contests in the Lion's Tournament, the team should be prepared to fight it out for fourth place in the Grossmont League race. A good turnout this year brought out many fine prospects and Coach Davis expects to field fine teams in the coming seasons. Coach Davis 4
