But a lot of boys alternated wrestling between the two teams and gained plenty of experience. However, five grapplers had outstanding seasons. Captain Chet Phillips finished second in the S.D.C.l.F. and made the first all-league team as did brother Don, who also finished first in the S.D.C.l.F. Wayne Freeman and Jerry Seubert each made the second all-league team and will be back next year as will the fine freshman, Larry John- ston, who finished third in the S.D.C.l.F. Coach Hauser expects to build future squads around this year's freshmen and sophomores with hopes that this youth movement will pay off in some future championships. ff x Ill
