Opening the season with a 26-33 win over El Caion, the Eagle Varsity harriers did a commendable iob with an inex- perienced squad. With the loss of their top five runners from last season, depth was at a premium this year. However, the perform- ances of Captain Don Phillips and Barry Vittor-both seniors, and sophomore, Tom Robinson, continually brought the Eagles home with flying colors. With five lettermen returning, depth and balance should be a strong point of next year's cross country team. IN as xg -IQ- -A ,Q ' , .
